Mission Statement

The mission and purpose of Pickford Hay Days is to promote a fun weekend for the community, family and friends, (with a wink and a nod to the most obvious activity that occurs at this time of the year.) We wish to include those with a history in Pickford and also our many new community members, and visitors.The activities should serve to promote this togetherness and a lighthearted spirit. Many service organizations are able to raise funds during this weekend by providing food and services. Local businesses are able to promote themselves by sponsoring and or participating in activities.The focus for the weekend should not be to make money, or to be involved in serious competition, but to provide an enjoyable weekend that can pay for itself from year to year.
